Horses
I have always been a fan of horses. They are truly majestic beings, their friendships are deep, somehow they just know how a person feels:) I have never been to an actual horse race, but I have seen them in practice. When they run they are so focused, looking straight ahead at their goal, never looking either left or right, just the path they are on. Maybe this is why I admire them:)

A Paris cup of tea
Yesterday I went to the Stash Tea Store in Tigard with my very best friend Sheryl...we have amazing adventures together:-) We found a darling teapot which we will be sending all over the states, the British Isles, and Australia where our special friends live. For me though I found the perfect mug, from Paris to have my tea in....so....this morning, which by the way is cheerful & sunny....I started my day with Harney & Sons "Paris" tea. Perfect:)

Surprises
These last few days I have had several surprises...some good, some not so good. Facts are that sadness is difficult, almost painful beyond what I can bare...fortunately God opens my eyes to something new:-) I am hopeful that God will bless those sadnesses and bring joy that overflows!

Our little..."BIG" dog
When we first picked up Grizzy he weighed only 2 pounds...but now he is a strong, powerful, & handsome 6.5 pounds:-) Of all the dogs we have owned Grizzy is the most confident! We truly think that he believes he is the biggest dog around!!! It's funny when he goes outside, because he puffs up & looks all about to gain prospective over "His" territory! We certainly do love him:-)

My husband and I really love watching "American Pickers"... They always say the funniest things and today when we were watching we heard a real doozy.......Danielle says, " if they didn't have me Mike and Frank would have a hard time getting from Monday to Tuesday!". We laughed and laughed...love this show!

My first roses of spring
These are fragrant old fashioned roses, Abraham Darby. They certainly add a lovely rose scent and just looking at them makes me smile:-)
My new cross stitch sampler
I love the JBW Designs! Each one I have done is simply beautiful:) This is the first time that I have used Anchor embroidery floss, I choose it because the red was very complimentary with the white Aida cloth. Another first for me is to post this cross stitch piece, I've done many projects & I thought it was time to show my work:-)
