I wish I may...I wish I might...

A new day brings about all sorts of ideas, some new, most old. I am sad that my current dreams will "never" come true because they revolve around the choices that others make. It's the ripple effect...what they choose does one way or another effect those around them. For the most part, I think their choices are out of their control, but it hurts deeply...and...that result hurts me. I truly am sad...but I hold onto the fact that God says He has a plan for my life and that it is good...thank you God:) I guess I'll just continue to wish...

Red...white...and...blue

The start of a new week

Monday Monday...always has me thinking what's next? what part of Murphy's Law will strike? Funny...I remember when each Monday was the beginning of a hopeful adventure...I wonder where the girl who had this hope has gone? Have I changed so much that each breath I take chokes me with fear instead of hope? I want hope back...I want to see goodness...therefore...I guess I still hope:-)

Something to look forward to...

It's a sunny Saturday morning, our student got up early, at least she's quiet. Off to the zoo today, plenty of exercise & fresh air...also want to do a quick stop at Acorns and Threads cross stitch shoppe. Mark had a good first week at his new job, hopefully this will be a job that can last and bring Mark some blessings:) At least it is something to look forward too...

A place to share

When I see this...I want to share it with my daughters and grand daughter having tea:)
Positive thought of the day...it is sunny and Mark has a job:)

A new day...a new thought

I am going to put a new thought into action...I will put my energy into thinking of goodness. I waste a lot of energy in stress and sadness, time for something new and today is perfect. It is a glorious morning, the sun is out, the air smells fresh, perfect for a new start.

A patriotic time of year

This fourth of July we are going to celebrate with family and friends at Lost Lake. David invited us to go along with the Wiese clan, and so we thought it'd be fun. I'll be making chocolate chip, oatmeal, & snicker doodle cookies.

This morning though I am thanking God that Mark has a job! I pray that God will protect Mark and give him wisdom and peace.
