I used to love autumn, but now, not so much. I do love the colors, lighting candles to make the house smell good, and my favorite, baking. I love the smell of warm apple crisp, freshly baked bread, and creating new muffin flavors with fresh fruits. Sadly, I can not do the baking because of my "diet", or shall I say a new way to eat healthy. I'm really "eating healthy" for my children and to look cute, but basically I don't enjoy it at all. I
love sweets, especially from a speciality patisserie, and now those treats are rare. When I was younger, school of course was starting for
me, then when I married & had children, it was for them...now it's a faded memory:( I used to think
of the autumn as the new year, something special was around the corner, sadly those thoughts are reduced to simply surviving:(. What I do still have are the changing colors...it is always beautiful! I still have hope, maybe some day it will be special again:)
I think this new way of healthy eating will help you stay healthy for a long time. You want that for Rylee. Love you! Stay positive!
